“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Natalie Terrill, LEED AP BD+C, ID+C

I launched my career as a Sustainability Consultant in 2005 after earning my Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University.

I have been driving behavior change through translating complex technical issues for diverse stakeholders across the built environment, real estate and construction sectors for the last 12 years.  My project experiences includes commercial office space, multi-family residential, hospitality, K-12 schools, universities, government facilities and laboratories.

I have achieved third party certifications for 11.9 million square feet of built space, under multiple rating systems including LEED, NYC School Construction Authority, NYC Department of Design and Construction’s High-Performance Building Guidelines and Cambridge, MA Article 22 Compliance.  My project management experience spans the globe with cross-functional project teams from the UAE, France, Mexico and Turkey.

My environmental issues management covers land use, water use, waste diversion, green power purchases, carbon emissions, recycled content, regionally sourced materials, sustainably harvested wood, low emitting materials, embodied energy and indoor air quality.

When not saving the planet for clients, I can be seen gardening in my backyard. I am constantly adding native plants to my bioswale to attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, turtles and frogs.
