Natalie Terrill launched her career as a Sustainability Consultant at Steven Winter Associates in 2005 after earning her Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University. Prior to founding Perceptive, Natalie was a Senior Associate at Vidaris, Inc., where she served as a lifeline for more than 50 clients by helping them create innovative solutions and drive behavior change for diverse stakeholders across the built environment and business sectors.
She has achieved third-party certifications under multiple rating systems including LEED, NYC School Construction Authority, NYC Department of Design & Construction's High Performance Building Guidelines, and Cambridge, MA Article 22 Compliance. Her project management experience spans across the globe with cross-functional project teams from the UAE, France, Mexico, and Turkey.
Natalie's environmental issues management covers land use, water use, waste diversion, green power purchases, greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable material selection, material transparency, and indoor air quality.
She is pursuing her architectural license in the state of Connecticut and has been a LEED AP and Associate of the American Institute of Architects since 2005. Natalie co-developed the LEED v4 rating systems as a member of the United States Green Building Council's LEED Implementation Advisory Committee and was previously a member of the AIA Kansas Sustainable Legislation Committee. She currently serves on the Weston Selectmen's Committee for Sustainability and is part of the Sustainable CT Clean Energy Task Force.
Natalie is a hands-on person who loves a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. She spends her free time on home improvements and gardening.
